John Stippick
President, Super Star Learning, Inc.
Mr. Stippick is the President and Founder of the Super Star Learning Company. Mr. Stippick created and conceived Room 21®, MyDreamMachine.com®, and ProjectBasedLearning.com™ from the desire to transform online education. This has led to creating the first social learning network, Room 21®, and the first social achievement platform, MyDreamMachine.com®. Mr. Stippick’s aim is to have Super Star Learning create and innovate 21st century learning, social learning, and social commerce along with project based learning strategies into businesses, online communities, and classroom instruction.
Mr. Stippick has worked to apply technology solutions to public and private education challenges since 1994. He has worked with school districts across the country, including Los Angeles Unified, NYDOE, Dallas Independent School District, DC Public Schools, and the Hawaiian Department of Education to secure over 100 million in grant funding. Mr. Stippick has literally visited and worked with schools ranging from inner City Los Angeles and Compton Unified to upper tier private schools such as Punahou School, National Cathredral School, St. Albans, and Ursuline Academy. This unique perspective into the needs of education has been a driving force for Mr. Stippick to build teams to create and innovate online education.
With over 18 years in senior level Sales and Marketing Management for educational technology companies. Mr. Stippick’s expertise is the specific ability to take ideas “from a napkin to a functioning organization”. He has been responsible for leading the start-up teams of over half a dozen tech companies toward becoming multi-million dollar organizations with public exits and acquisitions. His depth of experience as a corporate leader, organizational development, and high level sales experience is an invaluable asset to the Super Star Learning Company.
He is bringing the tools, leadership, and wisdom necessary to think outside of the box and succeed in the 2.0 business environment.
Ed Kirnbauer
Chief Financial Officer, Super Star Learning Company
Mr. Kirnbauer is a seasoned executive and brings over 25 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience working for both private and public multinational companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Kirnbauer recently served as Vice President, Finance & Administration at International Education Corporation, a career education provider, where he was instrumental in implementing a number of initiatives to support the company through a period of substantial growth.
Prior to International Education Corporation, Mr. Kirnbauer served as Vice President, Corporate Controller at both MTI Technology Corporation and Procom Technology, Inc., both publicly-traded global providers of comprehensive network data storage appliances and solutions, where he was responsible for managing all worldwide finance and accounting functions. During his tenure at Procom Technology, he successfully lead the company’s financial organization through periods of significant change, including implementing global cost-saving initiatives that were instrumental in the company’s return to profitability and positive cash flow.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kirnbauer held director level finance and accounting positions with Capita Technologies, Bally Total Fitness Corporation, Encyclopedia Britannica, Inc. and The Marmon Group, Inc. Mr. Kirnbauer began his career in public accounting at KPMG LLP where he spent four years servicing clients in the manufacturing, transportation and service industries.
Mr. Kirnbauer is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in accountancy from Illinois State University and an M.B.A in corporate financial management from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School Business.
Jeanne Leckie
COO, Super Star Learning, Inc.
Jeanne Leckie is our Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Leckie is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of the company, ensuring that all departments work together in achieving the company’s aggressive goals.Ms. Leckie brings 20 years of experience leading and mentoring emerging growth companies, with her last 6 years as the founder of Leckie Group, a high tech business services and consulting firm that specialized in emerging technologies including: digital media, SaaS cloud-services, internet payment processing and financial services, energy and web hosting for both startups and public companies. Beginning in 2001 to 2007, Ms. Leckie was responsible for Inter-Tel’s strategic marketing, sales incentive programs, field marketing functions, distribution, channel development, international business development, partner and exclusive dealer education programs, brand management across 13 business units, strategic partnerships, founded their analysts relations program, product development, and worked alongside of operational leadership to maintain standards of excellence and operational consistency. Prior to her appointment of Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Leckie held variety of positions with Inter-Tel, including roles in several subsidiary start-up divisions of the company where she held leadership positions in Channel Sales and Marketing at Inter-Tel CommSource, Channel Marketing at Inter-Tel Network Services and Inter-Tel Leasing Services, Director of Marketing at Inter-Tel.net and Director of Corporate Communications. Ms. Leckie was recognized with the Chairman’s Award of Excellence in 2006, and served on the chairman’s executive leadership team. Ms. Leckie has received numerous industry rewards for innovation in customer value in the enterprise communication and small business communication marketplace. In 2009, Ms. Leckie was the co-founder of a community business accelerator, Launchspot, that provided entrepreneurs with mentorship, innovation events and co-working, and is best known for its 2012-2013 Geek’s Night Out event, a rapid pitch event that brought youth, science, entrepreneurship to the Tempe community with is partner ASU Venture Catalyst. Ms. Leckie also served as a board member for the Foundation for Public Education to help design the strategic plan to create programs in Paradise Valley Unified District for Science, Math and R&D, including Hands on Science for K8, and the Crest Specialty School for Sustainability, Biotech and R&D on Paradise Valley High School Campus. Ms. Leckie is a STEM advocate in Arizona. She also has been a Mentor of Junior Achievement and numerous entrepreneurs through the ASU Venture Catalyst and ASU Edsen program. Ms. Leckie holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles
Jason Riddle
Chief Technical Officer, Super Star Learning Company
Jason specializes in IT management, technology, marketing, and business development for web and mobile applications. He holds degrees from Kaplan University and The Art Institute of California with focuses on Data Storage Technologies, Advertising & Marketing. He also holds a Certification of Technical Management from UCLA. He has worked for Mr. Product & Sapient Technologies in Irvine, CA as well as consulted for many start ups in the education and medical fields. Jason was recognized in the Wall Street Journal for the coding, design, and development of the first online social learning platform, Room21®. In addition, he developed a medical management platform for the Bill Clinton foundation that streamlined access to medications for needy individuals.
Jason is also a published author who has written countless web and print articles for publications focusing on marketing, technology and other innovative entrepreneur endeavors.
John Zoccola
Vice President, Public Relations / Corporate Communications, Super Star Learning Company
John Zoccola brings more than 13 years of Public Relations and Marketing experience to Super Star Learning Company, and leads our Public Relations and Communications efforts. He has worked in a variety of industries including financial services, not-for-profit, government, human resources, software and education technology.
A native of Philadelphia PA , John began his career as Public Relations Specialist for Commerce Bank, during the company’s rapid growth along the East Coast, and has since helped numerous companies enhance their image and brand through positive publicity. Over the years Mr. Zoccola has secured placements in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Education Week, American Banker, and countless other print publications and magazines for clients as well as features on MSNBC, CNBC, CBS News, and many regional and local television outlets.
Mr. Zoccola joined Super Star Learning Company in January 2011 - after four successful years with John Stippick at a previous company - and has brought the company tremendous publicity and is very excited about the exposure SSLC’s current brand extension can bring. John is an avid Philadelphia sports fan (as hard as that may be sometimes), enjoys running, spending time with friends and family, and the beach.
